Today marks the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, a day of celebration and service.
A Native American proverb reminds us it should also be a day to reflect on our obligation to future generations:
We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.So, get involved.
And be good to the planet because “when it all ends up, you have to go back to Mother Earth.”
