During tonight’s prime-time press conference, President Barack Obama will defend his economic plan. Obama will likely be asked about Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and the plan to buy up toxic “legacy” assets.
It remains an open question whether anyone will ask about Sen. Judd Gregg’s claim that Obama’s budget will bankrupt the nation. Gregg is Obama’s former pick to head the Commerce Department.
