That’s the $64,000 question for Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who are breathing down in each other’s neck in pursuit of the black vote.
We will get some answers this morning when the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies releases its national poll of African Americans likely to vote in the 2008 presidential election. Dr. David Bositis, the go-to guy on black voters’ attitudes, will shed light on:
- The presidential preferences of black voters and why.
- How black voters view the “change” vs. “experience” debate.
- Which national issues black voters find most pressing.
- Presidential and congressional job ratings.
The briefing will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Edward R. Murrow Room of the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
