The new Capitol Hill players (and here) are rolling into DC this week.
With their assumption of power in the 110th Congress, Democrats will bring hope to middle-income and minimum-wage workers who have borne the brunt of President Bush and Congressional Republicans’ coddling of the rich and Big Business.
The Democratic-controlled Congress will also bring down the house on war profiteers (and here) and Bible-thumping hypocrites who want to tell Americans how to live and whom to love.
Henry Kissinger famously observed that “power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.” If Democrats are able to chart a new direction for the country and push through their 100-hour agenda, they will be bringing sexy back.
