Washington is waiting to see whether Special Counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald will bring charges against senior White House officials Karl Rove and Lewis "Scooter" Libby.
If Rove, aka Bush's Brain (and here), is indicted (and here), he is expected to leave the public payroll. If that happens, the Bush White House will be officially brain dead (and here).
